Childless by circumstance, Kyla Fitzpatrick has become all too familiar with the social stigma that comes with this territory. This is just one of the reasons that the NotMom Sisterhood has given her peace of mind and the comfort of finding a like-minded tribe.

After a medical scare in 2014, Kyla decided to take charge of her life and transformed herself from a couch potato to a triathlete who now competes in her hometown of Montreal, Canada. She has also started blogging this year as a way to share her victories, and pain, in both her personal and athletic experiences. When not pursuing her athletic goals, camping in the wild, or reading a good book, she can be found working as a secretary for a law firm. She enjoys her life with her companion, Charlie the cat.
